New Cafe in Liverpool

Friday 17th  December 2010

Sayers celebrated Christmas with the help of 25 singing children yesterday at their brand new Cafe in Williamson Square, Liverpool.

The new Cafe officially opened its doors on Wednesday 15th with the help of Managing Director Michael Quinlan and twenty-five school children from St Vincent De Paul’s school on Pitt Street, Liverpool.

The children sang popular Christmas songs and carols whilst customers and passersby got into the Christmas spirit and enjoyed free mince pies.

Irene Boardman, Café Manager for Sayers in Williamson Square said: “The new Café is one of Sayers’ new concept cafes, which is bigger, brighter and relaxing to dine in. As well as having more space, it also has comfortable sofas, making the whole experience enjoyable. We are very excited about offering a wide selection of quality bakery goods at great value and look forward to welcoming new customers to the Café.”

Music teacher, Louise McVey from St Vincent De Paul’s Primary school added: “The children were very excited about officially opening the cafe and all their hard work practicing really paid off with a fantastic festive performance.”

Customers can enjoy a wide section of meals from breakfasts, pasties to jacket potatoes and hot soup from freshly baked bread, sumptuous cream cakes and tasty pastries and fresh ground coffee.

Special opening offers will be Early Bird Breakfasts which include 2 items in a barm plus a regular hot drink for just £2.99 before 9.30 am.  Two lunch meals for just £5 and Afternoon Tea after 3.00 pm for just £1.99.
